Welcome to my Dale Jr Page. I have been a Fan of Dale Sr for years. I started watching Jr when he was in the Busch Series. He's a Champion just like his dad. His dominance at Daytona, and Talladega show that he learned allot from the old man. Maybe he can see the draft too. The thing I really like about Jr is that he's his own man. He's not trying to be his dad. He's been known to be a little on the wild side, which fits pretty well with his sponsor.

He has definitely been through allot this year, but has persevered, and seems to have grown from it. He was asked about using the #3, he said that he had his own number, and what it means to him. The number 8 was not picked at random. His grandfather Ralph (Dale's Dad) ran the number in what was then the Grand National division (Winston Cup Today) and was a champion in his time. So Dale Jr is the third generation Earnhardt to win in NASCAR's top level.

When Jr won at Daytona in July the first person to the car to congratulate him was Chocolate Meyers, his dad's long time friend, and gas man for the 3 car for years. He came back and won at the next race held at Daytona after his dad was killed there.
